a passion for storytelling equalled only by a passion for people

I whistle while I work. It's not that I have any resemblance to the seven dwarfs–other than premature balding and corrected vision–I simply think they have a sophisticated quality: work hard and keep a good attitude. It's a decision I make and carry into every aspect of my day. Constantly humbled by my profession, I want to produce pieces that allow an audience to empathize or laugh with the face behind the headline. To communicate what that story looks like, sounds like, and feels like. By sharing their moments and learning from my subjects–it’s this unpublishable experience that fulfills me.

Nathan Morgan is a documentary photographer, multimedia producer, photojournalist, portrait photographer, and above all else a storyteller: +1-818-934-0807

Born in Nashville, and a graduate of Western Kentucky University, he was the photo editor at the The College Heights Herald, an intern at the Pueblo Chieftain in Colorado, and has been in publications such as MSNBC, CNN, Los Angeles Times, and The Washington Post.

Eventually he followed his then fiancé, Hailey, to California. There, he had the privilege to document the north state as a staff photographer with the Record Searchlight for two years in Redding, Calif.
If he looks familiar he may be thinking the same thing about you. Wanting grow in commercial and corporate photography Nathan lived and worked in Los Angeles for several years and travels back occasionally for jobs. In 2012 he moved back to Nashville and serves clients where ever he’s needed.

He operates Nathan Morgan Photography with his wife, Hailey. Nathan is now shifting his focus to multimedia projects aimed at education and hope. He has become more involved with Christian outreach and Humanitarian Aid Photography. His heart seeks to encourage people through stories and relationships.
